Welcome!
Welcome to McAuliffe Regional Charter Public School. Parents are actively involved in many areas of the school community. In addition, school administrators are open to parent input, and attend as many parent-organized functions as possible (as well as most of the Parent-Teacher Group meetings, where a portion of the monthly meeting is dedicated to discussion with the administration). These "For Parents" pages are a great resource for both day to day and reference information. We hope they are helpful to you, and we hope to see you involved too!
Big Tent
We now use a service from Big Tent to send out e-mail lists and post announcements online. If you have a child currently attending McAuliffe, you should have already received an invitation from us. If you haven't already, please e-mail Verena Castro (vcastro@mcaulifferegional.org) for an invitation to join. We strongly suggest you check this often!
Note: This service takes place of the Yahoo! Groups we used before. The McAuliffe Groups on Yahoo! have been removed.
Transportation, School Bus and Parking Information
Our School Transportation and Parking Info page provides information on both bus transportation for Framingham residents and information on drop-off and pickup procedures for drivers and commuter outside Framingham.
Friday Folders
Parents get regular updates from school administrators through weekly "Friday Folders".
School Programs
Practical and necessary information about our School Programs and our many After School Programs can be found here. Middle school students have a great deal of energy and an expanding interest in their community, which our students exercise through fieldwork, volunteering and student service. You will find that students, parents, and teachers recognize the importance of communication in this unique, stimulating, and caring community of learners.

Medical/Nursing Information
Our school nurse maintains "The Nurse's Page", with medical, nutrition and wellness information.
Parent Teacher Group
The Parent Teacher Group (PTG) has monthly meetings, almost always including a member of the school administration, to discuss items relating to school operation and strategy, and is actively involved in fundraising to support school programs. PTG meetings are lively and informal - visit us and join the PTG!
Get Involved!
Our parent community is very involved with the school! In addition to the Parent-Teacher Group, there are many committees, volunteer opportunities and ways to help our students and school to be successful on our How To Help page (found on the home page). Our students, faculty and staff will really notice your involvement, and your contribution of any size or type will be appreciated!
