Back to School Orientation and Calendar
August 2009
It's almost back to school at McAuliffe! Below is our school orientation and back to school calendar:
Tues, Sept 1: Orientation for all new students (8:30am - 10:00am)
Wed, Sept 2: First day of school for all students (8:30am - 3:30pm)
Also, please note that we follow the same general school calendar as the Framingham Public School system. You can view this in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
New Website Development

We're working hard to finish up our new website, rolling out at the start of the 2009-2010 school year! We have some big changes planned; however, during this process some pages may become unavailable during the summer. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience beforehand. From all the staff and faculty at McAuliffe Regional, we want to congratulate all graduating class of 2009! We wish you the best in your future endeavors. For all our returning students, we're working hard over the summer to make your next school year another memorable and exciting year! Enjoy your summer vacation, and we look forward to seeing everyone in August.
Graduation Packets and Record Release Forms
June 2009
This is an important reminder for 8th Grade Parents: If you have not received a graduation packet or record release form, download and submit them ASAP!
Graduation Packets should be in by June 9th and the Record Release Form was sent via Friday Folders and need to be submitted to Kathy ASAP. This is important because Kathy cannot send your child's records to the high school of your choice unless your form has been submitted. If you would like to double-check, or have any questions, please email Kathy at kbriggs@mcaulifferegional.org.

Important Upcoming Dates
June 2009
Take advantage of some great upcoming volunteering opportunities and support our school community this month!
June 4: Night of the Arts: Volunteers will offer refreshments to our guests (From 6-7:30PM)
June 9: Talent Show: Volunteers will help guide students into the Talent Show (From 6-7:30PM)
June16: Volunteers will help with the rehearsal for graduation (From 9am-12PM)
June 18: Graduation: Volunteers will help students in the graduation. It would be great to have 6th or 7th grade parents, so 8th grade parents can enjoy the ceremony. (From 5pm-7PM)June 19: Preparation for Field Day: Volunteers will help the day before with preparing materials, and other such responsibilities

Summer Skills Workbooks
May 2009
Keep your child's skills sharp over summer vacation! Wednesday, June 3, is the last day for placing your order. Order forms went home in Friday Folders on Friday, May 22.
