Job Summary

McAuliffe Regional CPS is a public school of approximately 265 students, open to all students free of charge, operating under a charter granted by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  McAuliffe Regional CPS employs research-based school structures and teaching strategies essential to middle school success, such as being a small school with small classes, learning through long-term, hands-on investigations known as learning expeditions, interactive fieldwork, and daily meetings with a faculty advisor for each student.

Teachers guide their particular students to academic and personal success by ensuring students master the skills and knowledge of the disciplines they teach through effective classroom management, clear instructional practice, a positive class environment, and effective curriculum planning.  To the extent feasible, all teachers teach skills and knowledge in the context of learning expeditions and demonstrate professional and personal growth, collegiality, strong relationships with parents, and reliability on administrative duties.
